Welcome to the Florida Society of Bariatric Physicians website. Intended for members of the association, this Web site facilitates access to the relevant medical and pharmacy rules that provide guidance and consistency within the practice of bariatric medicine in Florida.

Formed in 1996, the FSBP in a non-profit professional medical association headquarterd in Tampa, FL. Members are health-care professionals with special interest and experience in the comprehensive treatment of overweight, obesity, and related disorders. Our purpose is to establish and maintain practice guidelines, promote the study of bariatric medicine, and advance the specialty within the State of Florida.
