Health Law Compliance Issues for Bariatric Physicians in Florida

In Tampa, on Friday, September 27, Florida Society of Bariatric Physicians members attended a special break-out session at the 58th annual Obesity and Associated Conditions Symposium (sponsored by the American Society of Bariatric Physicians). Guest speaker attorney Erin Aebel delivered an excellent overview of health law compliance issues for bariatric physicians in Florida. Forty-nine of the sixty FSBP members attended, and everyone wanted copies of her material. Ms. Aebel, a board certified health lawyer at Shumaker, Loop, and Kendrick, LLP in Tampa, FL, graciously agreed to share her presentation notes so we could post a link here to her eight page document:
